Copyright

Every design featured on this website is protected by U.S. copyright law, specifically Title XVII of the U.S. Code and Chapter 37 of the Code of Federal Regulations. All original drawings remain the intellectual property of the copyright holder, who retains full title and ownership. Any blueprints you license through us are intended solely for your personal use and may not be transferred, shared, or resold to another party.

Copying these home designs in any way—whether in full or in part, and including the creation of derivative works—is not permitted without express written consent. When you purchase a plan set, you are not acquiring the copyright or any ownership stake in the design itself. What you receive is a limited license to build a single home from that plan. Buying extra sets at a discount, or picking up a multi-set bundle, does not expand that permission—you are still authorized to build only one residence. The same rules apply to reproducible plan sets: the copyright protections travel with them. If you intend to build from a plan more than once, you'll need to reach out directly to the original designer to arrange an additional license. And while PDF, CAD, and reproducible formats do come with permission to make working copies for your own project, please remember that photocopying standard blueprints is a violation of copyright law.

These protections aren't just legal formalities—they exist to safeguard everyone involved, and they honor the creative work of the architects and designers behind each plan. Copyright enforcement has grown noticeably stricter in recent years. Knowing violations can result in statutory damages of up to $150,000, on top of attorney's fees, recovery of lost profits, and additional damage
